The actions, besides the transversal ones to ensure the implementation of a suitable project according to the rules imposed by the program, consist of:
- The development of informative materials on the importance of local fisheries resources and fisheries-related activities for local socio-economic development and printing them on paper as brochures and leaflets
- Creating a website and a social media page to disseminate the information on the importance of local fisheries resources and fisheries-related activities for local socio-economic development
- Making short films to inform and raise awareness on the importance of local fisheries resources and fisheries-related activities for local socio-economic development. Publishing them on the website and other channels that the target access is also important so that the message get through to the people we need to reach
- Organizing fisheries workshops to educate the young generation (children from schools on GLP DSV territory) about the importance of local fishery resources both as healthy food and as a means of developing their local community
- Organizing a thematic route with a children group from each school that includes a one hour fishing session and a visit to an aquaculture center. These activities aim to teach and create awareness about fish farming and to offer a hot fish meal for kids to enjoy.
